Bee Scene in 2011
Over 2000 schools went on a Bee Scene expedition in 2010.
Here's your chance to get prepared to go out and discover even more in 2011. Between April and August 2011 you can help discover if your local green space is good for bees.
This years report has just been published and shows some interesting findings which you can read about for yourselves.
Some of the findings have highlighted fragmentation of habitats, The importance of a lonf flowering period, and the denisty of flowers providing pollen and nectar sources for bees.
Next year the survey is being expanded to include not only schools but ways to explore your surroundings at home with your family.
So, get your applications to take part in as soon as you can because this expedition is bound to be highly popular and to celebrate there will be loads more resources to help you too.
